CONCRETE COUTURE

EDITORIAL

In our inaugural shoot with the talented Eliana, we delved into a world where the starkness of concrete met the vibrancy of fashion. The shoot was split into two distinctive looks, each harnessing the raw backdrop of concrete to accentuate the style and color of the attire.

The first look captured Eliana against a bold red-painted concrete column, contrasting beautifully with her ornate greenish cyan silk oriental dress, rich with Japanese embroidery. The complementary colors of red and green cyan created a striking visual pop. To tie the look together, Eliana donned powerful red eye shadow and a matching red lip, further intensifying the color play and lending an air of bold sophistication.

For the second look, the palette shifted to a more subdued yet equally compelling range. Eliana wore a lacy dress paired with sleek thigh-high black boots, set against the warm greys of the concrete surroundings. The outfit's neutral tones – the creamy hues of the dress and Eliana’s natural skin tones – were subtly highlighted by a defined, small spotlight that illuminated just her face. This deliberate lighting choice drew the viewer's eye directly to her gaze, creating a captivating focal point amidst the softer tones of the backdrop.

Both sets in "Reds and Greys: Eliana's Concrete Couture" showcase the dynamic interplay between the urbanity of concrete and the fluidity of fashion, capturing Eliana's versatility and the power of thoughtful color and lighting choices in photography.
